Hotel Booking Policy
This Hotel Booking Policy outlines the terms and conditions for reserving hotel stays through Wanderlux Holidays. By making a hotel booking with us, you accept and agree to the rules stated below as well as the policies of the respective hotel or accommodation provider.
Hotel Booking Policy
1. General Terms
- Wanderlux Holidays acts as a facilitator between the traveller and the hotel.
- All hotel reservations are subject to room availability and hotel confirmation.
- Prices, inclusions, and amenities may vary depending on the destination, season, and hotel category.
- Hotel policies such as check-in, check-out, child policy, breakfast rules, and amenities are determined by the hotel, not Wanderlux Holidays.
2. Booking Confirmation
A hotel booking is considered confirmed only after:
- Payment of the required advance
- Written confirmation from Wanderlux Holidays
- Issuance of the hotel voucher
Room availability may change until the booking is confirmed. Wanderlux Holidays is not responsible for last-minute unavailability.
3. Payment Terms
- Most hotels require 50%–100% advance payment for confirmation.
- For peak season, festive periods, long weekends, and special events, 100% payment may be required.
- Failure to pay within the deadline may lead to automatic cancellation.
4. Room Type & Occupancy
- Room categories (Standard, Deluxe, Suite, Villa, etc.) depend on the hotel’s definition.
- Bedding types (Double/Twin) are subject to availability.
- Extra beds or extra persons are chargeable as per hotel policy.
Child Policy
- Hotels follow their own child pricing rules based on age.
- Children above a certain age may be charged as adults.
- ID proof or age verification may be required.
5. Check-in & Check-out Policy
- Standard hotel check-in: 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM
- Standard check-out: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
(Varies by hotel and destination)
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may involve additional charges.
6. ID Proof / Passport Requirements
Guests must present valid ID at check-in:
- Domestic Hotels: Government-approved ID like Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID, or Driving License
- International Hotels: Passport and valid visa required
Hotels may deny check-in if proper documents are not provided.
Wanderlux Holidays is not responsible for such denials.
7. Hotel Cancellation Policy
Hotel cancellation fees depend entirely on the hotel’s rules, seasonality, and room type.
Common Conditions
Low Season
- Cancel 7+ days before check-in: Minimal or no charges
- Cancel within 7 days: 1–2 nights charge
High Season / Peak Season / Festival Period
- 100% cancellation charges
- Non-refundable bookings may have zero refund at all times
No Show:
If a guest does not check-in on the arrival date, 100% of the booking amount is forfeited.
8. Amendments / Date Changes
- Date changes or modifications are subject to hotel approval and availability.
- Additional charges may apply depending on revised dates, season change, or room category.
- Non-refundable bookings may not allow any changes.
9. Refund Policy
- Refunds depend strictly on the hotel’s cancellation rules.
- Processing time is 7–21 working days after receiving refund confirmation from the hotel.
- Payment gateway charges or service fees are non-refundable.
10. Inclusions & Amenities
The following may or may not be included depending on the booking:
- Breakfast
- Airport transfers
- Resort fees
- Taxes
- Complimentary services
Amenities such as Wi-Fi, swimming pool, gym, spa, housekeeping, etc., are controlled by the hotel and subject to their operating hours.
Wanderlux Holidays is not responsible for temporary closure or unavailability of hotel facilities.
11. Additional Charges by Hotel
Guests may incur additional charges during their stay, including:
- Mini-bar usage
- Room service
- Laundry
- Spa services
- Damage or loss
- Tourism taxes or city taxes (in countries like Dubai, Thailand, Malaysia, Europe)
These charges must be paid directly to the hotel by the guest.
12. Guest Behaviour & Misconduct
Hotels reserve the right to:
- Deny check-in
- Evict guests
- Charge penalties
For reasons including misconduct, property damage, illegal activities, or violation of hotel rules.
Wanderlux Holidays is not liable in such cases.
13. Early Departure / Shortening of Stay
Shortening the stay after check-in (early checkout) may result in:
- Zero refund
- Additional penalties as per hotel rules
14. Force Majeure
Wanderlux Holidays is not liable for service issues caused by:
- Natural disasters
- Flight delays
- Weather problems
- Political unrest
- Operational issues of the hotel
Refunds or rescheduling will follow hotel policies only.
15. Liability Disclaimer
Wanderlux Holidays is not responsible for:
- Service issues related to hotel staff
- Cleanliness complaints
- Amenities not functioning
- Overbooking by hotel
- Behaviour of other guests
- Theft, loss, or damage of personal belongings
Our responsibility is limited to arranging the hotel reservation only.

By booking a hotel through Wanderlux Holidays, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Hotel Booking Policy.
